What we do

EXTRUSION BLOW MOLDING

In Extrusion Blow Molding (EBM), plastic is melted and extruded into a hollow tube (a parison). This parison is then captured by closing it into a cooled metal mold. Air is then blown into the parison, inflating it into the shape of the hollow bottle, container, or part. Our machines fulfill our customers’ needs for precise, flexible and cost effective bottle production. Precision Plastics Packaging Co.’s decades of combined manufacturing and custom tooling experience will create precise bottles with accurate specifications.

INJECTION STRETCH BLOW MOLDING

The process includes the injection molding of preforms, their transfer to blowing equipment, heating, stretching, blowing and cooling of the final container shape. This process allows good dimensional stability control and minimum production waste. It delivers an enhanced orientation of the bottle with smooth surfaces and precise bottle weight.

SILK SCREEN PRINTING

Once the tooling and artwork have been determined, the product is prepared to be silk-screened. In this highly automated process; a screen is made of a piece of mesh stretched over a frame. A stencil is formed by blocking off parts of the screen in the negative image of the design to be printed; that is, the open spaces are where the ink will disperse on the substrate.

Precision Plastics Packaging Co. uses a fully automatic silk-screen printing machine with multiple heads, up to 10 colors fully servo driven machine for printing on multi-format plastic bottles.

HOT STAMPING

Hot stamping is the method of applying a range of metallic and or holographic designs to a container through the use of heat, pressure and dyes. The dye is embossed with the image to be transferred to the surface of the container. The embossed dye is then heated, pressing the foil onto container. This method can also be used to roll a 360-degree foil stripe around a container, or to apply graphics and logos with a straight foil stamp.
Our machines are capable to decorate flat, round, oval, and irregularly shaped surfaces. Precision Plastics Packaging Co. uses advanced hot stamping machines with sophisticated heat transfer labels as a turnkey system.

PRESSURE SENSITIVE LABELING

A commonly used decorating solution; pressure sensitive (PS) labels have adhesive on one side and are applied directly to the container. Because the labels are preprinted flat, they have excellent resolution and color.
Precision Plastics Packaging Co. inherits several high-speed fully automatic label application machines.
